In partnership with the Vercors Regional Natural Park, Sentinel of Time is an immersive cultural experience designed for tourist offices and cultural institutions seeking to enrich their digital mediation offerings.
Conceived as a nomadic and autonomous installation, the project invites the public to explore the mountain in a new way, blending history, legends, and natural sciences, through mixed reality and 360° photogrammetry.
Users can discover the medieval legends of Mount Aiguille, whose summit was once believed to be a Garden of Eden, observe the fallen pines of the Vercors plateau, true witnesses of climate change, and understand the geological formation and gradual erosion of this natural fortress.
Developed using high-precision photogrammetry, the experience also includes a VR module that virtually transports visitors to the summit of the massif, a place usually inaccessible without climbing equipment. This innovative technological approach highlights the natural heritage while offering a sensory and interactive experience with high added value for professionals in tourism and culture.
Easily deployable in tourist offices, museums, or exhibition spaces, Sentinel of Time is a turnkey experience that combines technological innovation, knowledge transmission, and authentic emotion, inviting everyone on an immersive journey to the top of unreachable peaks.
